Commercial/ Industrial HVAC/Refrigeration and Boiler Technician
Industrial Refrigeration & Boiler Company is offering an exciting career opportunity for customer focused individuals that are looking to grow with a well-established contractor in the Phoenix metro area. If you are energetic, dependable, and ambitious this is the position for you! We are seeking experienced Commercial/ Industrial Refrigeration Service Technicians to immediately join our team full time.
Industrial Refrigeration & Boiler Company has been keeping the greater Phoenix area cool since 1963. As a fully integrated design, installation and service contractor, we provide for the commercial and industrial air conditioning, refrigeration, process piping, and boiler needs of our customers. We are on a mission, to provide the very best service to our customers, through our commitment to professionalism, integrity, and effort.
Job duties include:
• Planned inspection of Industrial and Commercial properties refrigeration and other mechanical equipment
• Service repairs of mechanical components of Commercial and Industrial facilities.
• Installation of commercial and industrial equipment
• Conduct facility Surveys and assist in getting thorough information to the estimating team.
• Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• EPA Universal card is a requirement for this position
• At least 4 years of commercial refrigeration technician experience
• Must have a clean driving record
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks at once and ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly and professional manner
• Self-starter with good problem solving and decision-making skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Availability to work Monday through Friday at multiple worksites 8 am to 5pm
• Flexibility to occasionally work extended hours during the week and on Saturdays as needed
• Ability to use Service provider apps on phone and/or tablet
• Flexibility to do after hour and weekend on-call schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
• Service technician experience of at least 4 years
• Previous experience working for an HVAC/Refrigeration contractor
• City of Phoenix Journeyman
• RETA certified
• Ammonia refrigeration experience
Compensation
This is a full-time hourly position. Hourly compensation to commensurate with experience.
